Therion is back with their 17th album "Leviathan". It is a more focused album than its predecessor, packed with charming songs and interesting guests. Every element is technically on point and instrumentally excellent. This album will please the old guard as well as the new. Songs like “The Leaf on the Oak of Far”, “Tuonela” and “Great Marquis of Hell” are all excellent examples of what we have been wanting from the band. The hardcore opera crowd should be glad this year!
