The gothic metal band Sirenia is back with its 4th full album lead vocally by a spanish promising star Ailyn. The album: "The 13th Floor" has all the elements that SIRENIA are famous for, a variety of vocals and different styles in singing. The gothic elements are present, mostly in the sense of a melancholic and dark atmosphere. "The Mind Maelstrom" shows how "The 13th Floor" is well orchestrated!

Notes of the DARKMASTER
We are satisfied with the new album of Sirenia. This number one song is absolutely above our expectations. Meanwhile, Silentium are back with another song from their album Amortean. They could have been at number one. Entwine are no strangers to GGC. Their style is always getter heavier. Who knows why? And here is a band of Scotand called Askival. What are you doing here folks? Tears Run Rings are still climbing the chart with their reminder of the Cocteau Twins. This is a new song song that brings memories. Strange! Paramore finally found the password to our heart with Decode. Dark Alternative songs are always welcome. And though we can't get over Unicorn, Apoptygma Berzerk come again with Shadow. Nice one! Karma Deva are also a new sound with a historic feel. A rich guitar!
Let's say that the start of 2009 is not completely disappointing. However, the major stuff will fall over our head starting April.
